They&#8217;re back in 2027. And rightly so.  <\/p>\n<p>The band from Sheffield plays hardcore and groove metal that sounds as if the line between the genres never existed. Edgy riffs, beatdown heaviness, a groove that doesn\u2019t ask the audience to join in but pulls them in\u2014and frontman Alex Taylor, who knows no boundaries on stage. Too heavy for punk, too hardcore for metal. That\u2019s exactly where Reload thrives. Sheffield has a tradition: bands that don\u2019t hold back. MALEVOLENCE is no exception. Since 2010, they\u2019ve been playing their way through basements and clubs, organizing everything themselves and building their own label, MLVLTD Music\u2014and in the process, working their way up from basements to the big festival stages. Before Nuclear Blast came knocking. Not the other way around.        <\/p>\n<p>Their third album, \u201cMalicious Intent,\u201d brought them international success; their fourth, \u201cWhere Only The Truth Is Spoken\u201d (2025, Nuclear Blast), showcases a band that knows exactly where it\u2019s headed. Lyrics about struggle, mental health, and attitude\u2014exactly the kind of attitude that doesn\u2019t need a marketing pitch. You can hear it.  <\/p>\n<p>MALEVOLENCE are in a league of their own when they play live. They proved that in Sulingen in 2023.
