In 2027, they’re returning—and anyone who saw them back then knows: This band doesn’t just stick in your head; it transforms the entire atmosphere in the infield. INFECTED RAIN delivers modern metal in two languages: intensity and atmosphere—built on electronics, dynamics, and vocals.

Since its founding in 2008, the band from Chișinău, Moldova, has become a fixture in the modern metal scene. And you can feel it in every song: razor-sharp riffs, electronic textures, groove, and intensity—but always balanced by emotion and melody.

At the center is Lena Scissorhands—and what makes her special isn’t just her presence, but her range. Clean, aggressive, fragile, angry: INFECTED RAIN can shift the mood in a matter of seconds without it feeling contrived. Add to that their progressive streak, which gives the songs structure where others just go all out.

With “Ecdysis” (2022), they demonstrated how ultra-modern brutality can sound without losing its emotional impact. And with “Time” (2024), they’ve once again expanded the boundaries of this genre: heavy, multi-layered, dynamic.

INFECTED RAIN are proof that modern metal doesn’t have to be polished to be impressive—and doesn’t have to be chaotic to be heavy.

Reload 2027: If you missed it in 2023, now’s your second chance.

 All bands

["post-9332","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
