AMORPHIS, one of the most exciting and versatile bands in the metal cosmos, are coming to Reload for the first time in 2026. The Finns have been mixing melodic death, doom, progressive metal and a good dose of Finnish melancholy for over 30 years – and they do so with an ease as if they had invented the genres themselves. AMORPHIS have forged their very own sound – and they are bringing it to Sulingen for the first time in 2026.

Their new album “Borderland” will be released in September 2025 and they will be performing it on stage at Reload. So you can look forward not only to classics, but also to fresh songs that show the next exciting facet of their sound.

Their songs are about myths and epic stories, their live shows are powerful, atmospheric and full of energy. Heavy riffs meet melancholic melodies, thunderous growls meet crystal-clear vocals, folk motifs meet modern heaviness. Anyone who has ever seen AMORPHIS transform the stage into a seething maelstrom of hard sounds and goosebumps knows that this is going to be a real experience.
