Damit das Reload Festival für Besucher*innen mit Behinderung so angenehm wie möglich wird, planen wir auch 2027 wieder das Barrier Breakers Camp.
Spots for 2027 have not yet been allocated. Official registration is expected to begin in January 2027. Please do not submit a registration before then—it cannot yet be processed or confirmed. As soon as registration begins, we will post all the important details here.
After registering, you may only use the campground if your registration has been confirmed. In addition to your companion, you may bring up to three other friends with valid festival passes. Your group may therefore consist of up to five people. In addition, up to two vehicles per group are allowed.

Restrooms
The Barrier Breakers Camp is logistically easily accessible – both for arrival and during the festival. Please note, however, that there is no separate “Shit City” with water-flushed toilets or showers. Instead, barrier-free porta-potties are available on site.
You’ll find flush toilets and showers within a five- to seven-minute walk. We realize this isn’t ideal, but for logistical reasons, we are currently unable to offer an alternative location.
Our goal is to continuously improve conditions, and we’re already working on it! 😊
Power & cooling for medical aids
If you need to charge medical or electronic devices or store medication in a cool place, please contact us on site. We have a refrigerator at the Info Point for storing medication. We’re happy to help!
Note on Carrying Controlled Substances: Users of controlled substances must carry appropriate documentation with them.
Power supply in the camp
At the Reload Festival, our partner LOADIES will provide you with portable power stations right on the campground. This way, you’ll have a reliable power source for lighting, coolers, electronics, and more—all without a generator, noise, or exhaust fumes.
You can conveniently book your power station in advance online or right at the store. Once you’re there, you can swap out empty stations for fully charged ones at any time—at no extra cost. All power stations are equipped with 2× 230 V outlets and offer you maximum flexibility throughout the entire festival weekend.
At the Barrier Breakers Camp, you also have the option to charge wheelchair batteries or medical devices for free at the Info Point—regardless of whether you choose the paid option offered by LOADIES’ power stations.

Start the Reload Festival in a relaxed way: At the Barrier Breakers Camp, too, you can kick off your festival weekend completely stress-free with the “My Tent Is Already Set Up!” service. You can conveniently book your preferred tent, including accessories, in advance—and everything will already be set up when you arrive. Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or in a group: Various tent sizes are available, as well as additional equipment such as air mattresses, sleeping bags, tables, chairs, and lamps. Less luggage, no setup, and more comfort—so you’ll have more energy for the festival.
Registration is required
The Barrier Breakers Camp is a voluntary service for our guests with disabilities. Of course, you can also stay overnight in the regular camping areas.
To ensure there is enough space for all eligible visitors, registration for the Barrier Breakers Camp is required.

- The registration period ends three weeks before the start of the event. Unfortunately, late registration is not possible.
- Since we have reached full capacity, we are unable to accept any further registrations at this time.
