Since their formation in 2010, the band has cultivated an unmistakable concept: radioactive destruction as a metaphor for human hubris. Blast beats, surgically precise riffs and growls from the depths of the reactor core merge into a sound that is as precise as it is merciless.

Anyone who appreciates bands like Origin, Aborted or Benighted will find CYTOTOXIN to be the German equivalent with their own signature: technically highly complex, but never sterile; brutal, but with structure. Their last album “Nuklearth” broke down the boundaries of the genre even further – and with “Biographyte” (2025) they have gone one better: conceptual art meets controlled chaos.
