In 2025, we welcome KATAKLYSM to the Reload Festival for the first time! Since their foundation in 1991 in Montreal, Quebec, they have risen to become absolute legends of the death metal scene.

The Canadians are famous for their aggressive and intense sound, known as “Northern Hyperblast” – a perfect description of their extremely fast and precise blast beats. Influenced by the likes of Morbid Angel, Death and Slayer, they combine the heaviness of death metal with catchy melodies and epic structures.

KATAKLYSM have a special highlight in store for their performance with us: they will be playing their iconic album “In The Arms Of Devastation” in full. This album is considered one of the band’s most powerful and influential works. With their brutal precision and passionate performance, they will turn our infield into a seething pit
