Shortly before we announce the first bands for Reload 2026 tonight, we have some important news for all families: From next year, we will be adapting our youth protection rules – for even more safety and a carefree festival experience for Reload fans of all ages.
The most important changes at a glance:
🦁 New age limit:
From 2026, access to the infield, the forecourt and the campsite is possible for children aged 10 and over – always accompanied by a guardian or authorized supervisor.
🦖 Exceptions for child-friendly acts:
For special program items such as the performance of Heavysaurus, we relax the age regulation for a fixed time slot. We will announce the exact times in good time.
🎧 Mandatory hearing protection:
In future, visitors between the ages of 10 and 14 will only be allowed to enter the infield with suitable hearing protection (e.g. “Mickey Mice”). Because safety first – even when headbanging.
⏰ No infield after midnight:
Under-18s are only allowed to stay on the campsite after midnight.
✅ Further regulations:
The mother’s slip rule for 10 to 16-year-olds remains in place. Children under the age of 13 continue to be admitted free of charge.
With these adjustments, we want to ensure that our youngest visitors can also enjoy the special Reload atmosphere – in an age-appropriate, responsible and safe way.
