After a total of 39 bands have been announced for the Reload Festival in two waves so far, the third and final release brings the field of participants to 50 bands. The new additions are led by the Thuringian metal roller HEAVEN SHALL BURN.
Sulingen, 26.02.2024 – Here they are again! After their furious performance at Reload Festival 2022, the organizers took the opportunity to get the Thuringian metal institution HEAVEN SHALL BURN to perform at the Sulingen festival again. It can be assumed that the band will surpass their spectacular show from 2022 this year. In addition, the gig is one of HSB’s few exclusive festival shows in summer 2024.
Another highlight is the performance by PHIL CAMPBELL & THE BASTARD SONS, as the band – consisting of Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell and his sons, among others – will play a special set of Motörhead tunes. This show is also one of only a few of its kind in summer 2024.
Managing Director Andre Jürgens is delighted: “Heaven Shall Burn – together with Korn, Amon Amarth and Blind Guardian – complete a quartet at the top of the line-up that is unique in the German festival summer this year. We are extremely proud that we have been able to attract this high-caliber selection of top acts to the Reload Festival. The entire program includes a number of top-class acts. Visitors can look forward to the tried and tested “Reload mix” of established acts and exciting newcomers! Nevertheless, we will of course continue to maintain the cozy and familiar flair of the festival!”
A total of 11 other bands have confirmed their appearance at Reload Festival 2024. Two final slots are traditionally reserved for up-and-coming bands, which are selected in a contest. The winning bands will be announced in due course.
