We are celebrating 20 years of Reload Festival with a line-up that leaves nothing to be desired! With three days of mainstage program, 48 bands and many exclusive highlights, we are setting new standards in 2025. The second and final wave of bands brings spectacular new additions such as Mastodon, who are performing in Sulingen for the first time, and the eagerly awaited return of crowd favorites such as Trivium and While She Sleeps.
🎸Highlights of the new band wave:
Trivium, one of the Reload community’s most popular bands, is returning. After their unforgettable performance in 2023, the US-Americans are ready to shake the stage once again. Their masterful combination of thrashy riffs, melodic anthems and emotional lyrics has made them an indispensable force in the metal scene for over two decades. Fans can look forward to an exclusive German festival show that is sure to be one of the highlights of the weekend.
While She Sleeps, now almost a “house band” of the Reload Festival, will also be performing again. With their infectious energy, progressive influences and their “Sleeps Society” philosophy, they stand for community and passion like no other band. They will also be playing their only festival show in Germany in 2025 – an absolute must for all fans.
Grammy award-winning Mastodon will be performing on the Reload stage for the very first time. The metal visionaries from Atlanta will deliver an epic set with their mix of sludge, progressive and hard rock. Mastodon is known for their concept albums and intense live performances that get under your skin both musically and emotionally. A premiere that is guaranteed to cause a stir!
🎉An anniversary that makes history
The anniversary edition of the Reload Festival offers visitors a unique highlight: for the first time, the main stage will open on Thursday. This means that visitors can expect an energetic program with breathtaking live performances over three festival days. A total of 49 bands will be performing – including many premieres, making the festival a unique celebration of metal and rock culture.
